    What is the difference between Blys and other in-room providers?

    Blys is the only true on-demand in-room provider. Our technology means that as soon as a job is posted, therapists near your hotel are automatically notified. This means we can cater to last-minute requests unlike other providers. 95% of hotel requests that provided at least 3 hours notice were filled.

    Our custom-built platform also means that therapists can focus on what they are best at – massages. They do not need to take calls while they are working, make appointments or do administrative work.  We have a dedicated customer support team 8am til midnight to streamline all our communication and help with any queries.

    Blys also has the largest therapist network in Australia. There’s a good chance we have plenty of friendly therapists near your hotel, ready to serve your guests.

    How do I know I am getting a quality service?

    Despite our large numbers – every single therapist is vetted in-person, hold formal qualifications in Massage Therapy and must an on-boarding examination to join the team. Most of the therapists on the Blys platform have spa and 5 star hotel experience.

    We also run regular professional development courses for consistency of treatment, as well as having an internal rating system for therapists.

    How much space do I need?

    Our tables only require 2.5m x 1.5m space. Therapists provided by Blys have delighted guests in rooms typically considered ‘small’.

    How do I know therapist appearance will be professional?

    We understand your brand is important, which is why our therapists are trained and briefed to deliver a 5 star experience. This includes having a tidy, immaculate appearance.  However, if there are certain clothing requirements you desire – the specifics can be specified during your booking and we will do our best to meet your needs.

    How do payments work?

    We understand every hotel is unique in processing payments from vendors. Most of our hotel partners prefer a book now, pay later approach. This means we provide store credit to your account, your hotel charges the guests’ room and we send a monthly invoice on credit spent.

    Some of our other hotel partners prefer the guest to book directly with us – either way is fine with us!

    Since we are online, we rarely accept cash payments and therapists on the Blys platform are often not comfortable with such an arrangement.

    How can I trial Blys?

    The best way to decide whether Blys is a great fit for your hotel is to try us yourselves. Get in touch with our team and we can provide your hotel a risk-free trial of our services. Some of our partners were initially skeptical of our last-minute availability – until they tried us out themselves!

    Can't I just call to make booking?

    While the majority of our hotel partners prefer to use our online platform, we also understand sometimes you prefer to just pick up the phone! We have a dedicated number (1300 420 188) available to take bookings 8am-midnight 7 days a week.

    How does parking work?

    Since therapists are required to bring equipment, we would greatly appreciate if parking could be provided in a spare car park within your hotel for the duration of the massage. This will ensure a prompt, seamless experience for both the therapist and guest. If this is not possible, we would appreciate if instructions could be provided for reasonably priced parking alternatives nearby.

    How much notice do I have to provide?

    Since Blys is an on-demand service, we take same day bookings. 95% of our hotel jobs that provide 3 hours notice get filled.  Get in touch with us and a therapist will be with you ASAP. Think of us as Uber for Massages.

    Is there a cancellation fee?

    We understand that sometimes plans change, so we won’t charge any fees if you amend or cancel within 1 hour of placing the order. If you provide at least 24 hours notice, there is no cancellation fee.

    Due to resourcing, if an order is cancelled between 24 hours – 4 hours notice, there will be a 50% cancellation fee, and a 100% cancellation fee under 4 hours.

    What times can I book a massage for?

    Blys provides massages 7 days a week from 6 am to 11 pm, including public holidays. These hours refer to the first and last available appointment start times.

    Which cities are you in?

    Blys operates Australia-Wide, so you can be sure we will be available in any major Australian city. 

    Can I rebook with the same therapist?

    Absolutely! Our website and massage app make it easy to rebook with the same therapist.
