Blys is dedicated to improving the well-being of elderly clients in residential aged-care facilities by offering top-quality, personalised mobile massage and therapy services. These services are provided through the Blys platform and its network of registered providers. To make self-care even more accessible, they can now use their Home Care Package (HCP) to cover these expenses.
The Australian Government’s HCP program offers funding for various aged-care services to older citizens over the age of 65 who need support to maintain their independence and quality of life at home as they age. If you’re eligible for support funding, you can now use it to pay for an in-home massage session. Self-care has never been more accessible!
Will the HCP cover my expenses entirely?
If you are eligible for HCP funding, you may need to contribute partially to the cost of your treatment based on the type of therapy and your financial situation. Check with your care provider or government support for more details.
How to use HCP to pay for residential aged-care services?

Before your mobile massage therapist arrives at your residential aged care we recommend ensuring you have a space available for the massage to take place.
If it is taking place in the resident’s bed, make sure the therapist is able to walk around the perimeter of the bed. If the massage is taking place on a portable table, a 2x2m space will need to be cleared.
