Massage for work Christmas parties and end-of-year functions

• Chair massage. Seated and fully clothed. No oil and no separate room needed.
• Table massage. A$129 per provider-hour, with a clear space for each table.
• Pamper stations. Manicures, facials, hair styling, makeup, and lash and brow services.
• Other options. Spray tan, barber grooming, yoga and guided meditation.

Beauty, yoga and mixed events are priced on request.

As a rule of thumb, about 70% of staff take part. For a 50-person office that is about 35 people. At 15 minutes each, that is around 9 chair-hours, so two therapists for about 4.5 hours or three for about 3 hours. There is no fixed maximum function size. Depending on availability, Blys can staff 10, 20 or more providers for one function.

Example: one chair massage provider for 2 hours is A$238 plus the 10% service fee.

Rates apply on weekdays during standard business hours. Christmas parties often run in the evening, on weekends or at a venue, and surcharges can apply for:

• early morning (6am to 9am), evening (6pm to 9pm) and late night (9pm to midnight) bookings
• weekends and public holidays
• hotel or conference venues
• venues with no free or metered parking

The public holiday surcharge is 10% per provider. Over the holidays it applies on 25, 26 and 28 December (the substitute public holiday) and 1 January in all states. Bookings run 6am to midnight, 7 days a week. Any surcharge is confirmed in your quote. GST-compliant tax invoices are available for Australian businesses.

About 1 m x 1.5 m per massage chair, or about 2 m x 2 m per massage table. Allow 15 minutes for setup and 15 minutes for pack-down at each end.

3. On the day. Providers arrive with their own equipment and set up.

December is the busiest time for end-of-year functions, so book 3 to 4 weeks ahead to get your preferred date and providers.

Massage providers on the Blys platform hold at least a Certificate IV in Massage Therapy, a Diploma of Remedial Massage or an international equivalent.
